The East of England Strategic Migration Partnership (SMP) is building on the success of its Wellbeing and Work Refugee Integration Programme (WW4RI) (Well being and Work for Refugee Integration Project – EELGA SMP) and running classes on

‘Health Literacy – how does the NHS work?’

for Afghans this summer.

We need a bilingual project lead to co-design and co-deliver classes in English to Dari and Pashto speakers.  You will understand what it is like to be new to the UK so that you can prepare and support culturally appropriate classes.  With our help, you will recruit learners, organise, attend and administer the classes.

This is a 5-month fixed term contract, for 28 days, approximately 2-3 days a week during July and August, and 1-2 days a week during May, June and September.

You will work for a well-regarded public sector employer, experience learning and development on the job, and receive support from an experienced manager.
