Social Care Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) group comprises senior social services leads from the unitary and upper tier local authorities from across the East of England and members of voluntary sector organisations working with young people. They meet to share data, practice and details of how practice changes as a result of legal developments. They can initiate and develop projects and identify training needed across the region to ensure best care of looked after young people.
