As part of the Cultural Awareness Hub launch, we are thrilled to offer our fourth free taster session delivered by one of our trainers, Sabeen Jabbar (Bibali Consulting Service) focusing on Understanding Death and Bereavement in Different Communities.  Taster sessions will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the hub and the workshops that will be delivered. Please join us and forward the registration link to relevant colleagues and teams in your organisation. We look forward to meeting you!

Sabeen firmly believes that fostering open dialogues and discussions about death and dying within society can reduce pain and suffering for many and help heal the traumas left behind by the death of a loved one. It’s with this belief that Sabeen established Bibali Consulting Service, with an agenda to improve knowledge about different aspects of death, dying, and bereavement for individuals, organisations, and professionals alike. Sabeen is leading a project within the NHS to reduce inequalities for ethnic minorities at the end of life. She is passionately committed to supporting compassionate care and informed choices for all.

Training will help you and your team improve your understanding and skills in:

  • Understanding about death and dying
  • Advance care planning
  • Cultural understanding of death and dying
  • Bereavement support
  • Communication skills to facilitate difficult conversations with individuals and families.

Audience: Everyone working with the Public

These workshops will not be recorded. Attendees will be asked to provide a testimonial for the website after attending the workshop.
