When it comes to resettlement ESOL, meeting the Home Office requirements of at least 8 hours of ESOL per week can be difficult.
This online workshop will help case-workers and local authorities understand the requirements and how to achieve them. It will be particularly useful to those new to resettlement ESOL.
The workshop format means active involvement from all participants. We are looking forward to a lively discussion to help all case-workers and LAs ensure that resettled people are learning English.
Topics to include:
- What are the requirements?
- Discussion on case studies.
- Understanding ESOL levels.
- Suggestions on how to meet the requirements, including combining provision from a number of sources.
