The Strategic Migration Parternship are pleased to offer training on Managment and Leadership in Social Care for Local Authorities in the East of England.

Aim:
To support skills development of effective management and leadership
 
Objectives:
 
1. Develop an understanding of 3 phases of group development which will inform decision
making process of leaders and managers, as well as appreciate the difference between
leadership and management

2. Learn how the human system is organised and how it behaves; how to motivate people to
achieve organisational goals

3. Learn collaborative leadership skills; how to bring changes as facilitators by setting up peer
support groups that promote a collaborative and reflective practice

4. Improve effective communication and conflict management at work 
 
This workshop is suitable for any managers as well as for any team members who have been delegated to lead a new project or who are simply interested in learning how to lead and influence others.

This course is also suitable for managers who are learning how to delegate more effectively some of their responsibilities to the rest of their team.

This one-day training course is designed to help participants improve their management and leadership skills. You will learn how to create and maintain a more efficient, effective and motivated team. It is also worth noting that, this workshop is experiential. As a result participants learn by reflecting on the experiences they get from doing the different exercises.
